Robert Masters
December 10, 1934—July 28, 2022
Robert Masters was born in Arizona in 1934 and attended Phoenix Union High School, graduating in 1952. He went on to the University of Arizona, receiving his degree in 1956. Thereafter he worked at the Valley National Bank as a teller.
He later moved to Los Angeles and became a CPA, working as a financial officer for Information International and several local hospitals.
In 1969, he met his lifelong partner, attorney Larry Siskind, in BJ's, which he liked to call "a popular Gay watering hole". They fell in love and bought a house together in the Hollywood Hills. In 1989, he retired and moved to Seattle with Larry, and became active in local Gay organizations and affairs.
Bob loved to entertain friends and watch football. But he especially loved to travel with Larry, visiting many countries on six continents and Oceania. These included Australia, New Zealand, Tahiti, China, Macau, Japan, Brazil, South Africa, and most of Europe.
Bob was a kind, loving and considerate person. He leaves Larry, his partner of 53 years, and many close friends. His loss is very deep.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to your favorite local Gay charity.
