| "Celebrating the Holidays with Your Life" will be the theme of the Seattle Chapter of PFLAG monthly Support Meeting to be held this coming Monday, December 12th from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Each monthly support meeting is held at Seattle 1st Baptist Church, located at 1111 Harvard Avenue at the southwest corner of the Union/Seneca Street intersection. This is on Seattle's First Hill just northwest of Seattle University. Individuals attending needing help are given supportive attention.
The Seattle Chapter of Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersexed and Queer minority individuals is a "we don't skip anybody" support organization for the entire LGBTIQ community. All are welcome to attend-as long as they are willing to accept responsibility for confidentiality after the chapter meeting. The chapter's efforts serve to fulfill PFLAG's mission of providing support, advocacy and education for and to the friends and families of LGBTIQ individuals in metropolitan Seattle and South King County. Other Seattle Chapter support meetings are held in South King County at Renton and Des Moines on the first Wednesday and fourth Monday of the month respectively.
