Jack David Lemons
Jack David Lemons Succumbed to ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) on December 2, 2005 at Bailey-Boushay House. He was born in Marion, Indiana on Feb 1, 1938. He graduated from Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana with a BA in Biology. He served in the Air Force during the Vietnam era. A long time Seattle resident, he was a real estate agent/broker in the eighties. He then went on to be a teacher working with gifted students in the Seattle school system. He also managed the Minor Tower apartments for over twenty years.

Jack was very active in the Gay community. He served on the Pride committee and was a member of the Radical Faeries.

Jack is survived by his sister Diane Lemons of Atlanta, GA, brother Jerry Lemons, sister-in-law Phyllis, niece Melissa Stafford, nephew Jeffrey Lemons and 3 grand nieces all residing in Colorado. In addition to his family Jack has many close friends who mourn his loss.

Memorial service Saturday Dec 10 - 12:30 P.M. at Bleitz Funeral Home (316 Florentia). Celebration of life to follow at 2:30 P.M. at 913 N. 35th Street. Please bring a dish to share. Remembrances, per Jack's request, may be made to Lambert House.
