ANDRE FERIANTE &
THE BOHEMIAN ENTOURAGE
'ANATOMIE DE L'AMOUR'
NORDSTROM RECITAL HALL
BENAROYA HALL
February 15 @ 8pm

Internationally-acclaimed virtuoso guitarist Andre Feriante brings a cast of headline performers to the Illsley Ball Nordstrom Recital Hall stage at Benaroya Hall (3rd Ave & Union St) on February 15 for his 24th annual Day of Love concert. This highly uncommon performance presents a tapestry and fusion of opera, classical, flamenco, blues, East Indian, jazz, Middle Eastern, folk, contemporary, and popular music styles. Nowhere else will you find this range of talent sharing a single stage and collaborating to create something new and amazing.

With an emphasis on love, compassion, peace, and finding common ground through beautiful music, Italian born guitarist Andre Feriante has brought together a team of artists representing a variety of musical and performance styles to play at Benaroya Hall on February 15th. 'Anatomie de L'Amour' features Feriante's original fusion of classical, flamenco, and contemporary music that will be joined by the likes of world-renowned tenor opera vocalist and pianist Steve Thoreson. Paraguayan dancer Deseo Carmin offers flamenco dance. Eric Fridrich presents blues guitar and vocals. Anil Prasad will lend his tabla playing expertise to bring the flavors of India to the blend. Guitarist Troy Chapman will join them with his smooth jazz, Gypsy jazz, and contemporary melodies. Ukrainian belly dancer Nalini will offer her interpretations of the music. Finally, contemporary vocalist Shawn Berit from South Dakota will make his debut on the Benaroya stage.

Tickets for Andre Feriante's 'Anatomie de L'Amour' are $42 general; $32 student/senior.

ABOUT ANDRE FERIANTE
Andre Feriante is an Andrés Segovia-trained, virtuoso guitarist. He is an accomplished composer and multi-instrumentalist playing an array of instruments including the oud, Bag?lama, Charango, cuatro, harp guitar, African banjo, ukulele, and, of course, a variety of guitars. Over time he has transcended his classical training to create his own very unique style. He has performed in concert halls around the world, including Carnegie Hall. Recently he has expanded his musical exploration to the healing music arts and was a presenter of a TEDx Talk on the power of music to heal. In addition to performing solo, Andre is half of the guitar duo Feriante & Chapman, creator of the Bohemian Entourage, a member of trio Troupe Deville, Art Director of the Whidbey Island Guitar Festival, and frequently collaborates with a range of artists. For his work and skill in bringing musicians of different styles together, he has been called the 'Ed Sullivan of Seattle.' Andre is a fixture of the Northwest music scene, with 14 albums to his credit.
