AFL-CIO opposes Minnesota amendment against marriage equality

Denying hormone therapy to Transgender prisoners is torture, 7th Circuit rules

The 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals says that refusing to provide hormone therapy for Transgender prisoners amounts to torture and therefore violates the Eighth Amendment ban on cruel and unusual punishment.
