Welcome back, Stefano!
American Idol season 10 finalist Stefano Langone comes home

by MK Scott - Courtesy of www.outviewonline.com

I sought out gorgeous American Idol season 10 finalist Stefano Langone and personally welcomed him back to the Seattle area (he grew up in Kent). Stefano is just as gorgeous in person as Kris Allen, and just as Gay-friendly as Siobhan Magnus. Interviewing Stefano was a joy, not only because he is the full package (with looks and voice) but like Blake Lewis, he has made Seattlites proud.

Scott: So far, how has the tour been for you?

Stefano: The tour's been great. You know, we just got on our buses today, we've been flying around a little bit & it's going to be crazy. We're going all over the country, so I'm really, really excited to do this, and I don't think there's anything bad about it.

Scott: On the show, what was your best or favorite moment?

Stefano: I have a few. One of them was definitely my smoking performance for my Wildcards. You know, I really got to prove to the judges and contestants and everybody, really, that I was there for a reason. And I should be there. And that was really cool for me. And then, you know, I think my very last performance on that stage & was a really great moment for me too.

Scott: Tell us about your least favorite moment.

Stefano: Least favorite moment? Oh, man, I don't know if I have a least favorite moment. I would say getting asked if I felt guilty that I got through it - Pia didn't, when we were in the bottom two. I think that was probably the least favorite moment I've had since, well, since this American Idol experience has happened. But, you know, it is what it is, and it outcomes with what you do and I'm just glad to be here. I'm glad to express my love for music, and the voice, and everything. And I'm so excited to be able to inspire people and touch people's lives, man. That's number one. And that's why we do what we do. And I'm just so excited to do great things.

Scott: What is next for you?

Stefano: You know what? It's all about recording, you know, networking. Taking what you learned from this experience and really taking it out into the industry. For me, I think number one is staying true to myself, and staying true to what really matters, and that's the music. & That's really important to me, and I'm going to be out there on my piano, and I'm going to be dancing, I'm going to be feeling the music, and I'm going to be touching people with my voice. So that's number one, and that's what I'll be doing, for sure.

Scott: You were in a band with some of the other male contestants. Is that something you guys are still going to continue to do?

Stefano: Maybe, man. You know, I mean it was a really cool experience. We got a name, and, you know, I can't say it right now, but I don't want to throw that clue out there. But you know what? It's fun, and we actually killed - it was really cool. And who knows? Maybe that might come out again.

Scott: OUTscene has an audience of LGBT Idol fans. I know that you have a Gay following. Do you have any messages to your Gay fans?

Stefano: Just thank you for all the support that you guys have given me, and helping me get to where I am today. You know, I couldn't be here if it wasn't for you guys. So much love, and stay supporting, stay there for me, because I'm there for you guys. So much love again. Shout out!

Scott: Okay. I have a Twitter fan question from Ethan: 'How did you get so cute?'

Stefano: Well, I've got to thank my parents for that one. So Kerrie and Ernie Langone, thank you very much.

Scott: And you're Italian, right?

Stefano: I'm Italian. I'm half Italian, half Spanish.

Scott: I also have my burning question: You've got your voice, and your body. What is the toughest to maintain?

Stefano: Wow. You know what? I'd say they're equally as tough, because your voice, you have to really watch what you do. You have to watch how you talk. You have to watch, you know, what you're putting in your body. And keeping up the six pack is kind of a hard thing to do. So you got to be on that all the time, too. So, you know, there are two things that, for me, I take very seriously: what I eat, and how I treat my body.
