Seven Deadly Sins: Vanity
May 29
Neumos
Vanity - the latest dance night from Two Knights Events, creators of the Seven Deadly Sins dance series - was the place to be last Saturday night in Gay Seattle.
The May 29 dance party at Neumos proved to be a complete success for partygoers, with awesome set design and a perfect atmosphere. Along with great talent courtesy of Ultra Naté and DJ Craig Gaibler, Vanity made for the perfect dance night.
"When we produced Lust back in January, it was intentionally themed to be a bit on the darker, steamier side. Vanity [had] a much lighter feel, being more frivolous and celebratory," said Two Knights' George Delmar.
The event raised money to benefit Gay City Health Project.
"We both feel very strongly about giving back to the people in the community who come to and support our events. Our original plan was to name a different beneficiary for each dance, but we decided to stick with Gay City Health Project after our first outing last October with Greed," says Delmar. "Not only have they been great to work with, but the range and scope of their work is amazing - programs that each member of the Seattle GLBT community can easily access and benefit from."
Amidst balloons dropping from the ceiling, Ultra Naté performed a short set before signing autographs and meeting with fans. Didn't get a chance to meet Ultra Naté? Don't fret; I got an autograph for you:
To Seattle Gay Community, U ROCK! Love Ultra Naté
A pre-party took place at the Lobby Bar, and an afterparty took place at the Seattle Eagle.
The fourth Seven Deadly Sin, Sloth, is scheduled for September 18, with DJ Joe Gauthreaux.
