posted Friday, September 18, 2009 - Volume 37 Issue 38 Washington Families Standing Together Campaign Manager Josh Friedes accepts a $10,000 check from the Human Rights Campaign on September 15.Washington Families Standing Together, the Gay advocacy organization leading the Approve Referendum 71 Campaign in Washington State, received a $10,000 donation from the Human Rights Campaign on September 15. The donation will go directly towards the campaign's efforts to keep the same-sex domestic partnership law in place said WAFST officials. Ref. 71 will be on the November 3 General Election ballot where voters will be asked whether they approve or reject the law, which grants same-sex registered domestic partners and senior citizens the same rights and responsibilities as married couples. |
