Dear Editor:

I admit I would not like to see our seasoned senator leave a void in the State Senate where he is a leader who brings people together across the aisle, who has defended programs for People with HIV/AIDS and one of a very few Seattle Legislators with the will and the wisdom to address our transportation woes. But frankly I don't want to see Seattle led by Mr. Either or Mr. Or. Neither candidate for mayor has the depth of experience or ability to lead Seattle. They are, unfortunately, so typical of a city that will vote its future to death while other cities solve their problems.

Senator Murray is the only Seattle politician who could move this city forward, address the problems of budget crisis, public safety and transportation (to mention three of many) and do so without alienating the vast majority of those of us who live here. Senator Murray might be the only person capable of getting the self absorbed members of our city council to stop their endless pursuit of me politics for all of us solutions. Whether you like it or not Ed, I am writing you in.
