William Alexander "Bill" Loundagin, 1964-2008
William Alexander "Bill" Loundagin passed away August 13, 2008 at the age of 43 in Seattle. Born on October 6, 1964 in Spokane, Bill grew up there and moved to Seattle during the summer of 1984 - a goal he had had since his first visits to the "big city" as a child. He was thoroughly captivated by Seattle and soon adapted quite well to the niceties of the big-city lifestyle. As such an attractive, engaging and sociable young man, Bill soon made many lifelong friends, most notably among them Mark Olthouse, his partner for almost 20 years. After working in numerous jobs, Bill achieved another of his lifelong big-city dreams: to work in a gleaming skyscraper downtown, which is exactly what he did as a website designer for Perkins Coie law firm for approximately 15 years. Bill enjoyed dining out, socializing with friends, playing tennis, gardening, decorating and travel. In fact, Bill's travel bug led him around the country, to Mexico several times, and to Europe three times.
His sense of humor, kindness and quiet stillness will be missed by all.
A memorial gathering is being planned for Sunday afternoon, September 21. For details, please contact Patrick at pddqa@yahoo.com.
