SGN A&E Writer Living Dead in Denmark Directed by Lisa Glomb Theatre Off Jackson Through May 24 Maybe because Denmark - at least judging by films like The Kingdom and a few other dreary SIFF films whose names escape me at the moment - is usually dark and cold, it seems the perfect setting for quirky horror forays. Or maybe the new play by Pork Filled Players (Living Dead in Denmark, which premiers this week at Theatre Off Jackson) is just part of the trend to put zombies in our faces. Either way, the plot sounds worthy of a look-see and will definitely be a bright spot in your weekend. Set in Post-Apocalyptic Denmark, three heroines must face off against a zombie invasion and I'm sure, being that this is a PFP production, there's bound to be plenty of laughs to go along with the chills.
