Get Woody for Gay Softball World Series

During the month of May, participating bars will be selling "Woodys" as part of a Stoli-sponsored fundraiser for the Gay Softball World Series! All proceeds from the fundraiser will go to the World Series to help pay their costs to put on this event. Your support is greatly appreciated! How does it work? The "Woodys" will be sold at several participating bars - as of press time, the following bars are part of the fundraiser: R Place, Purr, 88 Keys Dueling Piano and Sports Bar, C.C. Attle's, Neighbours Nightclub, The Elite, The Crescent, The Eagle, and Swank! During the month of May, visit your favorite bar and bartender and ask if you can buy a Woody for $1 (or more). Write your name on a Woody showing your support for the World Series. During the month, the Seattle Gay News will give updates, showing the bars leading the fundraiser. There are prizes for the bar and bartender who raises the most money, so get out there and show your support for the World Series and your favorite bar/bartender! Seattle will be hosting the 32nd Annual Gay Softball World Series, where we expect over 4,000 athletes, fans, and officials to be in Seattle from August 22 - 30. In addition to five days of softball, the World Series committee has events planned all over the city - we have partnerships with several businesses and bars, which we wouldn't be able to pull off without all of their support.
