Provocative play on the aftermath of hurricane Katrina opens Rep's winter season
by Rajkhet Dirzhud-Rashid - SGN Staff Writer

THE BREACH
DIRECTED BY DAVID ESBJORNSON
SEATTLE REPERTORY THEATRE
JANUARY 10-FEBRUARY 9TH

On the heels of devastating storms in the Northwest, many are remembering the horror of hurricane Katrina, and the loss of life, mishandling by the current administration of FEMA resources and how many people were displaced. This still timely subject is explored in the opening play The Breach, which will focus on three stories by survivors of the monster hurricane, and will undoubtedly prompt discussion after the show is over.

The play had public readings all over the South last year, and is now opening on the main stage at the Seattle Repertory Theater. No doubt this will be one to remember. For ticket prices and times, call: 206-443-2222, or go online to www.seattlerep.org.
