| ACT Theatre to open award winning memoir My One Night Stand with Cancer |
Month-long run October 11 - November 11, 2007
Tania Katan's award-winning memoir, "My One Night Stand with Cancer," will make its onstage debut at Seattle 's ACT Theatre for a month-long run October 11 - November 11, 2007. A one-woman tour de force, Katan's passionate performance regales her own triumph over breast cancer - twice - and her survival of a few more of life's little obstacles.
Katan's memoir, from which this world premiere stage adaptation was derived, is a 2006 winner of the Judy Grahn Award in Non-Fiction, honoree of the Stonewall Book Award in Non-Fiction and a finalist for the 2006 Lambda Literary Award in Belle Littres.
Ticket prices range from $10 to $27.50 and are available for purchase at the ACT Theatre Box Office by calling (206) 292-7676 or visiting www.acttheatre.org.
