Sept. 29 - Make Strides at the 21st Annual Seattle AIDS Walk!
Seattle, WA - On Saturday, September 29th, 2007 join hundreds of Seattle area residents at Volunteer Park, take steps to end the AIDS epidemic and support those affected by HIV/AIDS. Sponsored by the Lifelong AIDS Alliance, this event is designed to unite and celebrate families, loved ones, supporters and those living with HIV/AIDS.
The AIDS crisis is not over. Today, 1 in 300 Americans are living with HIV/AIDS - 10,000 in King County alone. Let them know they can count on all of us to make a difference in their daily struggle with this disease, and help protect others from the risk of infection.
Funds are urgently needed to provide care to those affected by HIV/AIDS, advocate for changes in policy, create a community of supportive networks and increase the awareness needed to stop the epidemic.
Our goal is to raise $800,000. Help us meet that goal by signing up today at www.LifelongAidsAlliance.org or by phone at (206) 323-WALK.
