The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, the Abbey of St.
Joan, are excited-nay, ecstatic- to announce the acceptance of applications for the Summer 2007 granting cycle. S.P.I. Abbey of St. Joan, is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to the promulgation of universal joy and the expiation of stigmatic guilt. But you knew that. Through the generous contributions of the many communities of the greater-Seattle area and Washington state, The Sisters are able to once again offer this opportunity for financial assistance to many very deserving organizations. Funding is available in grants of up to $1, 500.00 for Washington-based 501(c)3 non-profit organizations. Applications and instructions are available on-line at: http://www.theabbey.org/school/grants/grants.html. All applications MUST be received by 5:00 pm on Friday, August 17th, with disbursement of grants on Saturday, September 1st at the "Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence present: A Labor of Love" granting celebration.
