Take Out!
Pravda Studios
July 26th
The flyer says in its 'recipe' to: 'take one NYC style loft, add eclectic restaurants and a delicious dinner/fold in two hudred homos/infuse Gay chef, cooking live/sprinkle in a smattering of provocative LGBT groups/warm with fantastic people and a sense of connection/mix thoroughly'.
The idea for this gathering came about when several Gay men got together and realized they weren't getting what they hoped for out of the bar scene and, after discussing what an alternative would be, they came up with the evening called 'Take Out!'. The charge is only ten dollars and organizers promise the evening will be fun, as well as informative and give those who attend a chance to meet other Gay men of different backgrounds, ages and ethnicities.
Sponsors include Dunshee House, Q-Squared, Pravda, Gay City and The LGBT Center.
Pravda Studios is located at 1406 10th Avenue and the event starts at 7 p.m. For more information, go to myspace.com/takeoutseattle.
