Seattle Gay News is pleased to bring you first class travel coverage, with help in planning your upcoming trips and much-needed vacations. Look for the "OUTBOUND" stamp in our newspaper for monthly features on travel destinations, such as Oahu, Dallas, and Victoria BC that recently printed in our five-section Pride issue (June 15, online at www.sgn.org). Hotel, restaurant, shopping and tourist attraction recommendations are what you'll find in each OUTBOUND column, written collectively by Seattle Gay News writers. Special emphasis, of course, will be on gay places of interest, like GLBT-friendly locales, well-known gay districts, and popular nightlife for non-hetero visitors. We'll also suggest modes of transportation for getting you to select destinations from our very own airport, pier, train station, and driveway. Our travel coverage will highlight a variety of tourist spots, from overnight stays in the Pacific Northwest to weeklong international trips. So stay glued to Seattle Gay News for exciting travel coverage in the months ahead. In late July, Albert Rodriguez will preview Vancouver BC's Gay Pride festivities, Milton Hamlin will recap Reno's annual Artown celebration in August, and Ron Anders will explore the San Juan Islands in early fall for a post-summer getaway.
