Lipstick and Lust
Lust in the U-District, feeling clean and happy again, and more in this Lipstick and Lust
by Rajkhet Dirzhud-Rashid - SGN A&E Writer

First, I must say, 'happy birthday Craig Ferguson' (who turned 45 a week ago Thursday), and 'yea' to him. And dude, you're not old yet, believe this one, (who made 51 in January) you're just getting started learning how great life can be. Viva! And second, what numbskull CBS exec thought that it was a good idea to cancel my fave show, 'Jericho', after such a short run, (in favor, no doubt of more of the drek I've been hating for a year now)? Dudes, that show had real promise and not since 'Firefly', or 'Farscape' had the boob tube enjoyed such a well thought out sci-fi series. Shame, shame on you CBS!

Okay, no more ranting, this column, promise. That's because now that my cleansing diet is done--I was on this thing where you get down to just green juices, then lemon juice and water after six weeks of eliminating other things and now I'm done, yea!--and the nether regions have been properly pleased, I'm too happy to rant. For now, anyway. Trust me, I'm sure Seattle will have me back on the soapbox soon enough, but that's for another day, right? Right.

For now, I'm still reflecting on both the delicious chub grrl I played with at The Wet Spot a few weeks ago (and we're doing more scenes in the future, heya!) and the Missouri hot one this one brought home for fun after the U-District Street Fair. And oh, did we have some fun, yes we did! I feel like Madelyn Kahn in 'Young Frankenstein', where she sings that song, 'oh, sweet mystery of youth, at last I've found you!' And baby did I ever 'find' something good!

Ah, and my 'Norwescon friend' (see my blog, and the pics from Norwescon in the earlier blog entry, to check out that one) did finally e-mail La Diva and she is sooo happy that we might be getting together for Folklife, I can barely sit still. Good times ahead, fo' sho'! But, in the mean time, let me tell you about some good products The Kid's been using to make herself look all scrumptious (and which will no doubt have you turning heads too!). After all, Pride is coming and you want to look biteable and huggable doncha? Well then, here we go! First, do try The Body Shop's 'Wise Woman Replenishing Day Cream', which will make you glow, I swear. And also try Philosophy's 'Microdelivery Peel, Step I and Step II' which will make your skin squeaky clean and ready for the world. And it foams, so try it with someone and feel free to giggle like teens when the foaming starts making your face tingle. Oh la la! Pick this up at Sephora.

And if you're looking for a scent that's not too girly, but'll get you noticed by that femme you've had your eye on (like that cutie who does the Femcon commercial, that I just adore!), then try Ermenegildo Zegna's 'Zegna' and be amazing. You can also pick this up at Sephora, along with some other delish Spring scents and Lola's 'Body Bling Dry Oil' that'll have you looking fresh and fly at night when you're looking to get noticed in the clubs. And dahling, do not forget your sun block when the sun's out. DHC makes a good one for the face (order it at www.DHCcare.org), and so does Alba, which you can get at Madison Market.

So, that's it for now, and let's all keep those who are serving overseas in this illegal war in our prayers (including my own 'army sweetie' who never leaves my thoughts and will never leave my heart, no matter how many 'flirtations' this one has!) and urge your representatives to get a spine and end this war now. Be wonderful, get all ready for the best Pride ever, because yes, it is happening--all over the place this year dahlings--and spread love and joy wherever you go, and may your lusts all be delightfully satisfied. And do e-mail me at ijanaral@yahoo.com and let me know what you think of this column and the blog of the same name. Buhbye!
