Will Jennifer Hudson walk away with an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress? Could Peter O'Toole upset Forest Whitaker for Best Actor? Is this the year Martin Scorsese finally earns the title "Academy Award-winning director"? Those questions will be answered on February 25 when the Oscars are handed out live at Hollywood's Kodak Theatre. Seattle Gay News A & E writer Lorelei Quenzer has been tracking the busy film awards season, and next week she reveals her predictions and picks for the year's Oscar-nominated films and performances. Don't forgot about our fabulous Oscar Party at Purr Cocktail Lounge (1518 11th Avenue) with cool prizes, drink specials, tasty food, rolled-out red carpet, and mounted TV screens to watch all the action unfold, from the moment A-list celebrities step out of their limos until the minute Best Picture is announced.
