October LGBT art show to feature artist CC Cahill
The LGBT Community Center Art Gallery and QArts is delighted to present the paintings in a solo show of exciting artist CC Cahill. The exclusive engagement of The Shape of a Woman will be shown October 1st through October 28th. CC Cahill, a protégé of artist Dana Gibson, will be present to talk about her work.

Throughout CC Cahill's life, art has played an important role and has had a strong influence. In her early childhood, CC Cahill's mother, an Art Historian, taught her art appreciation, art history and how to express herself through a canvas and paintbrush. CC Cahill also lived in Europe, traveling through countless museums and castles. Through her adulthood, CC Cahill has used art to help others. CC Cahill has taught Art Therapy to children and adults and has devoted herself to volunteer work.

The Shape of a Woman consists of 10 abstract works full of life, movement and vibrant color and celebrating women in all shapes, colors and forms. The event is show cased by the painting, The Woman in a Red Hat.
